#15: Final Items Have Arrived!!
over 2 years ago – Wed, Oct 04, 2023 at 02:58:17 PM

The final items, those originating in China, have finally arrived! They came in from a big truck that delivered a pallet of material into my garage.

I was able to take out a few items and snap some photos for you. This weekend, I plan on dedicating dozens of hours to assembling the Collector's editions and once done, packing them all up for delivery to the World of Game Design logistics center.

So make sure your addresses and shipping are all up to date on BackerKit! we're at 94% complete right now, so expect a reminder email if you're in the remaining 6% who have not completed fulfillment.

I *hope* to get these all shipped out by the end of next week, setting us up for fulfillment before Halloween.

P.S.: Pledge to My new project, located at HTTP://www.womenswheel.co - I command you! Thanks!

Quick Update!!
over 2 years ago – Fri, Sep 29, 2023 at 09:16:40 AM

Quick Update for everyone- the items arrived in the US safely, and three days ago I received confirmation that the items are being forwarded to me from New Jersey, where they arrived. 22 boxes should be at my door any day now.

Once they arrive, I can start assembling the Collectors Editions and hopefully, sometime next week, I'll bring the whole mass to UPS and send it on its way to World of GameDesign for final fulfillment to all of you!!

Expect some photos!!!

P.S.- my next project is on Backerkit and it's launching in 4 days!!! Please make sure you have a backerkit account and sign up now for a free gift when the project ends!

#14 Boat Tracking!
over 2 years ago – Tue, Aug 29, 2023 at 05:04:46 AM

Quick update today-

The goods are on a ship called CLIFFORD MAERSK, and it can be tracked here: https://www.fleetmon.com/vessels/clifford-maersk_9198575_37774/

It's estimated to make port on September 23rd. Maybe two week after that I should have the goods, I'll then assembly the Collector's Editions as quickly as possible, and forward them to the my fulfillment partner at World of Game Design. Yay!

Meanwhile, please help get the word out on my next project: http://www.womenswheel.co

#13: Final goods have left China
over 2 years ago – Wed, Aug 16, 2023 at 05:35:01 AM

Yay! The final piece of the puzzle is on its way to me!

The goods have left my manufacturing partner in China and were picked up by the forwarding agency yesterday.

This includes:

  • collector's edition box
  • hardcover book
  • oracle cards and box
  • character sheets

Once these arrive, I can assemble the collector's editions, sign their COAs, and finally forward all items to my fulfillment partner at World of Game Design.

I just reviewed my estimated fulfillment for these items and realized I'm missing my window for the first time. I'm sorry- none of these delays were on my side. Being the project designer, writer, and illustrator affords me the luxury of not having to wait for anyone on my team to complete their portion, but I still have to wait for the manufacturing delays as they occur.

Right now, it looks like these will be in your hands in early October if there are no problems on the ocean.

#12: Quick Update on Additional Zines
over 2 years ago – Fri, Jul 28, 2023 at 08:08:36 AM

Hello everyone!

I was alerted to the fact that the text-only pdfs of the two additional zines from the project's stretch goals, written by Zac Goins and John Baltisberger respectively, were missing the proper Mork Borg licensing data, so I've updated it and you can download the latest versions of all of the Zine files from this link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/19OLvcS1c-KuOHsufG6c_-UFR9YU6C5Kf?usp=drive_link

Additionally, the latest update from the final production partner says the last item, the character sheets, will be done next week. I know they said this last week, but we are still ahead of schedule, so I'm not annoyed just yet.

And as a final item, please listen to my podcast "Art for Profit's Sake" - I've already interviewed John Baltisberger about publishing in the Mork Borg space, and next week I'll release my conversation with Zac Goins about representing RPGs at conventions. I've learned a lot about the best ways to grow my own art business through these conversations and I am proud of the content I'm putting out there.

You can listen to it wherever you listen to podcasts or at www.artforprofitssake.com
